THE STUDIO – MISSING MAN

THE STUDIO

The control room and the main listening system at MISSING MAN Recordings is designed by Roger Wallander who is the architect of many of the major recording studios in Sweden.
A lot of effort has been put in to get the best possible acoustics, electrical grounding system, lightning, ventilation etc and of course a nice interior design to give you the best studio experience.
As you can see on the pictures we love analog gear but we also offer the latest in digital recording.

The main recording room at MISSING MAN Recordings features 70 square meters (7mx10m) with the possibility to adjust the reverberation time, depending on what sonic quality you need from the room. We have kept a lot of hard surfaces but without flutter echoes, which for example helps in achieving big drum sounds.

The relatively large isolation booth can separate a singer or drum kit from the band in a live recording situation. It can also be used when recording a dry vocal track.
The recording rooms are equipped with separate analog cuemix systems which enables each musician to set their own preferred headphonemix.
Finally, our lounge is a part of the recording area and can therefore in addition to having coffee also be used for recording podcasts and more.
